A Great Film

With "Black Book" Paul Verhoeven harkens back to his Netherland days where he made such great films as "Turkish Delight" and "Soldier of Orange," and it is a welcome addition to his filmography. The film has a very European style and I was riveted from beginning to end. Verhoeven has always been a great and edgy director, and he does not fail here. This film has action, sex, and humor. What more could you want. |
