Loved the film because it captured the feeling of looking back at an old photo and trying to remember why it was important. People will be more willing to criticise the film for what it isn't than praise it for what it is. There is little action or linear structure, but if looked at as an emotional painting it is very beautiful. Writing, direction, photography all dovetail into an extraordinary piece of art. |
