Disappointing

I am sorry to say the movie was not well organized. it flashed by too quick without giving the viewer a chance to understand what hector was really going through. The story line went by with haste and hector went from pot to full mainline drugs no transitioning or substance.many of the facts as I know them were unrealistic.
I will give you 3 examples.. When they were first with massucci and pacheco in the office they memtioned hector and willie were going to record right!! on the wall behind Willie was the Hustler LP gold record hector lavoe & Willie yet they had not recorded yet.. Also Willie walked away from the band and the next performance you hear was Willie and hector still together.
Anyhow, too many unknown facts left out... The real mistake was Yomo Toro who appear as Himself a lefthanded cuatro play. Yet the actor playing YOMO is right handed. You go figur. Just the little details the movie misses.
I fell the movie Missed a great deal/
Hector was a talented man but portrayed poorly by marc Anthony... and Puchi was the worst person to tell the story.
I knew both of them and it really was not that way.. |
