I have to say I was really dissappointed with this movie. My family and I went to see it friday night (thinking it was a family movie and ok for our two kids). The trailers really lead you to believe it is a fanatasy movie similar to Narnia. This is not the case. One of the main characters die and this is very hard to take for young children. My son and daughter are 5 and 6. They cried through the last half of the movie. Parents ended up taking their kids out of the theater. It was really sad and not what I expected. The portail of the movie tends to have you believe that the movie is fun and ok for all ages. Please head my warning!!! This is not the case. This movie is not for young children. As a adult the movie is ok. It has a strong RELIGIOUS message so be prepared. My daughter picked up on it and asked did that child die because they did nt believe in Jesus?? It was a hard movie to sit through with my young kids. I hope I helped you. |
