John Cusak and Morgan Freeman are both very good actors, and they did alright here, it's just that this was a very simple, dumb film with to many plot holes and an overall terrible story about a merchaniary grabbed in the woods by an ex-cop for no apparent reason, leaving the unanswered question why didn't he just let him go?
