While the storyline was somewhat plausible, kill the evil guy, save your wife and the kingdom, the rest was just unbelievable. This was a disaster from the start. The first 20 mins was a bunch of dribble. I can understand the point of setting up the movie but geez did it had to ramble that long. Did we need to have Farmer have that long conversation with his neighbor. That could have been shrunk to a more reasonable size say 10 mins. The acting was so dry and lame, let alone having to deal with Jason's dilect. Having Burt Reynolds as the King was totally bogus. Can you picture Smokey as your almighty powerful king? And his Generals were also lame and weak. The only thing amusing was the fighting, I did not realize that they had ninjas in the Western World and what sort of fighting does everyone go away unscathed, not even a bit of blood. This film was truly unrealistic in every way. Not worth the 2 hours. |
