Walking into not so Virgin territory

I thought this movie was a tasteless attempt to deliver a romantic comedy the 14th C scene. Not only was it not a comedy, but the way they protrayed the sexual activites of the women in the monestery was horrid! Mishca Barton was among the worst actors in this film. She looked like she was reading a script from a far when she talked and she looked like a corny figure when her face was still. I would have thought Hayden Christianson would have had more class, maybe even Tim Roth. And the amount of female nudity was a bit tasteless. The costumes were also very fake looking. Some of the "virgins" costumes looked like you could buy them in an everyday store. If they had a better writer, costume designer and a better directer, the movie may have worked. However, overall I gave this movie an F for failure because it was by far the worst movie I have ever viewed in my entire life of movie viewing! |
