Despite the nightmare production, despite the fact the crew still hasn't been paid, and regardless of producer Elton Brand's excessively corrupt Hollywood practices, Rescue Dawn remains a near masterpiece. That's how good Herzog is. He fights through treacherous and evil roads paved by scummy producer Brand and still come out with jewels. |
