I was expecting to see a grim and gruesome movie that was somewhat disturbing. The movie did provide what i was looking for but i did not expect to be laughing as much as i did. This movie has some similarities and hints of Saw but this movie is not Saw. Captivity has its flaws but overall the movie is (the key word) entertaining. Two females did exit the theater during the blender scene as i guess they were getting grossed out and i wanted to also because i was kinda bored, but hang in there as the movie picks up and things start happening as the movie begins to open up. Most of the crowd was laughing as was i and you just cant help but laugh as you really cant take some of the scenes seriously. This movie is not as bad as others make it out to be. Its really not a wait for DVD movie but if you want to be safe and not feel bad for wasting the money, catch a matinee and have some fun. |
