THE BEST 3D MOVIE EVER !!!

Renaissance has simply the most advanced and most realistic motion-capture visuals ever. It is 10 times more realistic than Final Fantasy 7. When 2 characters kiss, it really feels like it.

The Black and White is absolutely stunning. You will get used to it after 5 minutes. It is even weird to see how your brain can easily reconstruct a picture from only a few elements of shaddows. It is more than a movie, it's an experience.

You may read some stupid critics saying the plot is too simple. Believe me, i'm a fan of Philipp K. Dick, and the scenario is nothing but simple. In fact, it's even a bit hard to follow, because your brain is constantly active, busy re-creating 25 images/sec unconsciously. I suspect those critics who didn't get the story at all (hence pretending it's "too simple"), to have either a lack of gray matter, or to be completely multi-task disabled.

Renaissance captures with brio the essence of the "noir" movies of the 40's, from characters smoking cigarettes to rainy Paris. That's why this movie has so much SOUL and what keeps it apart from any other 3D movies released in the past few years (except Cars, maybe, in a different way). It has the same qualities Blade Runner had. An architectural futuristic projection (Paris in 2054 is just amazing) with enough nostalgy to pull your tears, so beautiful is the result.

These guys created a new genre that i consider, artistically, as innovative as Andy Wharol or Roy Lichtenstein. It's a true graphic revolution, that forces you to become active while watching the movie, creating your own imagery from their feeds, not being simply passive, laughing at green monsters fart jokes. This movie is definately for adults.

Last but not least, there is some great action too, an absolutely brilliant car chase along the Seine river, and some very realistic fights too.

It's a shame Miramax released such a jewel in only 2 theaters. Yes, 2 theaters in 50 states, while Knoxville and his jackass pals get 3,800 theaters !!! I suppose Dreamworks and Pixar lobbyed, just being jealous some froggies managed to make a flick not only technically better, but far more creative.
