Unique animation and clever story makes the movie

Renaissance is a sci-fi detective story that is a must-see for any fan of the sci-fi cult classic Blade Runner or comic book crime story Sin City. After a scientist goes missing, it's up to a detective to search for her. Soon, hidden corporate truths through her research are discovered and the chase begins to save both the scientist and society. Renaissance is renowned for its unique animation style, however, at times it is way too dark and hard to tell what is going on. Although it is a clever story, there is some unfortunate bad acting that halts the drive. Nevertheless, for anyone interested in animations or just want to hear a clever twist on the old detective stories, Renaissance is a treat. Anyone else, may want to watch Blade Runner or Sin City before thinking this a good idea. |
