So, I went to see this movie with my family, since Pirates was three hours long,and it wasn't showing at 9. I found the movie good, and enjoyable.
It's a kind of Madagascar story, mixed with Shrek's humor, and a tone of Happy Feet's characters...but cooler.
The visuals were awesome, the beaches, the whales, and the jungles were well made, and detailed.
Now, the creators, wanted the movie to look, like if there was someone recording all the movie in the camera; there are interviews with the characters, and even they make the ¨camera¨break, it's an awesome view.
People who didn't like this movie, it's obvious, are people who were expecting more action, or have a really poor sense of humor, who'd rather spend their day watching South Park, or possibly Family Guy.
The character's voices are well done, the visuals are great, it's got this good story, awesome direction, and so, overall ¨B¨, or in other words..good.
So, hope you like the movie too. |
