I'm tired of reading reviews from critics who supposedly know what they're babbling on about. I read several reviews on August Rush and all I heard were bitter critics who can't accept a heart-warming film when they see one. The character development in AR was outstanding; Robin Williams played the antagonist to a perfect 'T'. True; one did feel anxious at times, wondering when these two lovers would reunited themselves with this son but the movie was wonderful. It changed how one percieves music and gives us a glimpse (be it 'hollywood-ized' as it may) how those with perfect pitch or savantism see the world. This music gives a wonderful outlook on life; Freddie Highmore is simply wonderful. I hope the public can see what a wonderful movie this is; the plot was one that didn't require too much thought yet was taken and made extremely original. Kudos, I say! Kudos! |
