This movie wasn't great. The story jumped all over the place and was hard to follow at times. Plus, I hate it when movies can't keep the timeline straight. You'll notice towards then end that it goes from daylight to darkness in 2 seconds, but no time was supposed to have elapsed. And, for something that was billed as being made by the same people as Sixth Sense, it was not of the same calliber. The movie had great music throughout, but it totally did not go with the theme. It made the tone more sad than suspenseful. The reasons why the characters make the choices they do don't make a lot of sense, and they all come off as one-dimensional. The visual effects were pretty good. They did a nice job of showing how he couldn't effect anything, but by the end, they had shown it too many times and I was getting bored. I wouldn't see it again, even if it was on TV and I had nothing better to do. If you want to see something suspenseful, your money is better spent on Disturbia. |
