Definitely a kids movie...

I keep reading reviews with adults complaining that THEY were bored and the movie did not live up to THEIR expectations. THIS IS A KIDS' MOVIE!!! I found it pleasantly surprising. The humor was actually made for children, not adults. The animation was out of this world. My children of 7, 6, and 3 were all entertained equally by the movie until the end. That is saying a lot, since my 3 year old will rarely sit for that long. Pleasantly absent were the sexual inuendos and adult undertones found in so many "childrens'" movies today. The bad guy in the movie was really over the top, which appeals to children. There were some glamorous and interesting time travel and futuristic ideas. This was a good family movie for the kids, and my wife and I were entertained too. Overall, I reccomend it for children and adults alike. |
