The New York times gave it a D. But who said they ever knew very much about how to grade things? This movie was a charming surprise. The director's work shines through in the young talent. Emma Roberts gives a stellar performance. (I'm sure Julia is proud.) All in all, no need to listen to critics. Just go to the movie.
