Shia Lebouf keeps audience guessing and doesn't disappoint. For a PG 13 movie it was not cheesy at all (unlike The Messenger and The Grudge 2), and it had its good moments with both humor and scares.
The first 5 minutes are very intense in which Shia loses his father in the opening scene due to a terrible car crash which starts the movie off .......a year later to where Shia is now disgruntled and withdrawn;gets on house arrest for hitting his teacher. So to keep him preoccupied with his new lost of freedom, he gets his binoculars and looks at all his unsuspecting neighbors to which he falls for the new girl Ashley that moves next door.Shia and his best friend Ronnie and Ashley team up to spy on there one neighbor that they believe is responsible for killings in the area. But little do they know that this neighbor is on to them. But the rest I can not say but I will say ITS A DEFINITE MUST SEE! It had its moments where it kind of draws out but in the end its worth it.
So for anyone that likes a good laugh and also to be scared this is the movie for you. If you are an adult you'll like it but if you are a teenager you'll love it. So get some popcorn, soda and some candy if your wallet permits and enjoy a nice night at the movies. |
