It's hard to know where to begin to describe just how truly awful this movie is. The story is ridiculous - the plot twists, especially some right at the end are totally unsupported by the entire rest of the movie. The details of the story are if anything worse, as the writers clearly don't understand what role temps play in an organization (Here's a clue: they aren't major players in an office.) and had all kinds of other truly improbable scenes. In addition, the continuity is rather bad, as the movie at one point bounces back between two scenes (to show them taking place at the same time), only one is in the middle of the workday and the other is in mid to late evening.
The acting was horrendous. Not a single character in the movie was particularly likeable.
Two minutes into the movie, I knew it was going to be awful because Naturally it had a gratuitous attack on Republicans at the beginning. A very small point, but one emblematic of the sloppiness in the plot, the writers couldn't be bothered to check New York law to find out that the crime charged would have been second-degree murder, not first degree. There's also a parking lot scene that could never have happened - anyone who's been in New York knows parking lots are never that empty in Manhattan.
