It's not the fact that i spent $15 bucks to see this movie that gets me angry - it is the 2 hours of my life i wasted watching it!
An old plot, mixed with bad acting. I am not sure of the genre that this film was meant to portray, but if it was suspence or thriller...there was none of it!
Half way through i was left thinking, 'Where the hell is this going?'. At one stage they were trying to build tension, and on the other hand the backing music made it feel like a Meg Ryan/Tom Hanks love story.
Much like bad movies before it (Scream 3 comes to mind) the ending was founded on information that was never given to the audience previously. This left me thinking....why?? Both why did i come and see this rubbish, and why did both of these actors waste their time making it?
I hope heads role for releasing this rubbish to our cinemas (but i notice it already grossed $18 million). It has been a long time since i felt the need to walk out of a movie half way, staying only out of amusement and a little self built curiousity.
Across the world, i can see why people are downloading films off the net - i dont think this film is even worth the download credit. If i hadn't paid for it i would have lasted 5 mins.
Unfortunately, i could not review this movie any lower than an F. So i have created my own movie rating below.
UG - Un-Gradable
** Don't watch it (not even an advertisement).
** Never download it (it's not worth it).
** Never see another movie directed by James Foley
** Never see anything written by Todd Komarnicki or Jon Bokenkamp
Im not going as far to say never see anything with Halle Berry or Bruce Willis, as they have done some good movies.
As a final point, the following is an open comment to both Bruce and Halle...
'Fire your managers, as they have done you a great diservice and obviously never read the script for this movie. If they had they would have realised how crap it really was'
