I knew this was a subject I was curious about, but had heard someone remark that the movie might be more of a "small screen" film than one you had to see in a theater. I am SOO glad I went to see it with an audience. Very, very well-researched, visually dynamic, well laid out, educational on so many levels, but most of all just really exciting, inspirational and FUN to watch. The movie-makers take on and embrace the complexity of this important subject instead of oversimplifying it. The future of energy independence for America is defnintely something that affects us all, especially with the cost of gas going up and up. Definitely an Oscar-worthy film. 2006 is turning out to be a great year for documentaries. |
