It's a shame that some people have to lable everything black people do to uplift their race as being racist. This movie is a part of history and no matter how much you don't like it, it happened and some of us want to know about it. U.S. History is filled with what white people have done in history. Teahcers have to find something outside of the book to teach during Black History Month.
So if you are sick of seeing movies like this then don't go, because no matter what, this is our history and this is the story we choose to tell.
You never know, there may be a black president soon, then what? |
