A Great Family Movie Great Job on Pride

While last night I went the the theater to pick a movie to review. Well there were several to choose from this week, because there is a lot of releases. All the other reviewer's choose TMNT, but no one choose Pride, and I always go for the movie no one wants. Well, they missed out on a great movie, with some morals to boot. It's a mix of Coach Carter's and Cool Runnings. Bernie Mac, does a super job, as the janitor/bus driver, care taker, and Terrence Howard, Coach, Mentor of the inner city Phildelphia teen agers. The only draw back to this movie it was shot in Sherevport Louisiana and no actual Philadelphia, but as Bill Cosby used to say at the end of the Saturday cartoon Fat Albert, If you pay attention, you might learn something. So if your not doing anything tonight and you don't want to stand in a long line for TMNT that you can catch at the dollar theater, take that girlfriend and see a great movie, I suggest Pride. |
