Rocky is back for one final chapter and this time he is in his late 50's and his son is much older. Rocky gets an idea that he wants to start fighting again but nothing too big. Then one day on television in a computer simulated boxing match it says that Rocky Balboa would beat the heavyweight champion of the world Mason Dixon played by Antonio Tarver. Dixon wants to fight Rocky after this decision by the computer to prove himself as a great fighter. Rocky agrees to fight him in an exhibition fight on HBO.
Rocky is too old to keep up with the young, energetic Dixon so he needs to overpower him to win. This means he has to start training again like he used to when he fought Drago, Lang & Creed. Rocky wants to show that he still has something and that winning isnt everything.
