Black Christmas may not do well with the critics (no horror movie does) but I think this will do well with veiwers. Catching onto this in the summer, I have been eager to watch Black christmas, and I finally got the chance to! Let me just say that the atmosphere of it, (the surroundings like the beautifully decorated soroity house) is all yuletide cheer, but once it starts rolling into the film, it starts to become the opposite.
The movie consists of a toped cast so anyone of them could be the hero (or the survivor). The remake starys from the original. In the original, there was no gore, but there was creepiness and suspence (there still being some in the remake). But, another thing that is different with the remake is that it shows the complete background story on Billy and it shows him in person, but in the original you didn't know who this creep was and the motives aren't clear enough in this version.
But I would recommend this for the "gore lover" because there is a lot of gore, eye ball situations, and cool struggles and incidents with plastic bags. Overall, this movie is recommended!
