YES! YES! YES! The trilogy is complete!

Darren Lynn Bousman and Leigh Whannel knew they had to make this third installment perfect, and that's exactly what they did. I was a bit skeptical of how Saw III would turn out seeing as how James Wan (the original creator) passed away right after principal photography on Saw II, but all that skepticism died in about thirty minutes. I have never seen a series end so perfectly. Unlike the previous Saw movies the thrid one doesn't have really any major execution (Saw- cutting off the foot, Saw II- skinning the neck), but the games that are played all throughout will keep you on the edge of your seat and chills will go down your spine by the minute! And the thrid's twist was a tad predictable, but it was the perfect way to cap it off. As far as entertainment, i still like the second one the best, but III is definitely a keeper and the best horror flick this year. It seems slightly possible that this may not be the end of Saw, but the third one ended so perfectly, that I hope they stop here due to the common fact that most movie series are shot down after three installments, if not before. |
