Predictable as you may have well guessed by just seeing the previews. Despite its flawed, and predictable story line it is a cute "feel good" movie. The scenes with Hugh Grant as a member of Pop! in their music video for Pop! Goes My Heart is hilarious. I found myself singing the songs days after seeing the movie. Even though Drew Barrymore is a wonderful actress her perfromance in this movie is lacking and the feelings she conveys don't seem to match the script. Hugh Grant plays his usual character that we have seen in many movies before but somehow he still wins me over every time. Don't go in with expectations too high and you will still enjoy the movie! |
