Everything for a great movie. Yet...

I was excited about seeing "three times". I thought the idea,showing a couple in three different times going,was very good along the same line of "the hours".
The acting is amazing across the cast. I had not seen Shu Qi since "the transporter" and she has grown to become the new Gong Li. The visuals are very good and the director used all the different available techniques with maestria.
Yet, the story lacks excitement. There is no link between the stories except that there are performed by the same actors. You lose very quickly interest. Here, it is only a crude account of how love was in three different times in Taiwan. So what? |
