This is the type of movie that unfortunately appeals to the people who don't need to see it. What I mean is, that generally the people who should see this movie because they need to understand its message are the type to go see any big budget effects movie, no matter how much it degrades good film, over quality plots and messages. This film is about the human experience, that happiness and the answers we all seek are found from within. For those of you struggling with who you are or where you are in life, even a two hour experience like this may help.
This film truly had it all. Great acting, wonderful dialogue, fun sport scenes (for guys like me who love just about any sports movie), a real understanding and messages, and of course, great direction.
I can only hope that word of mouth spreads this movie, more people retain the message, and hollywood is sent yet another message that a good script and an important message that costs a few million to make is always more valuable than the latest tom cruise big budget hollywood action pic. Thanks. |
