My wife and I saw this movie last night. We are both fans of the book, having originally read it 20 years ago. I wasn't expecting a lot , since go from a book to the screen is a hard transition. But everybody did a great job, and it really struck home. People today are so concerned with the past, or their future that they really don't focus on the here and now. If more films like this were made, maybe we would be much happier as a society. I am going to take my teenage kids to see it, hopefully it will get thru to them. Nolte and the actor who plays Dan are outstanding with great chemistry. This is a must see film. For more information about me, go to ****.com |
