The movie's story was fair. It wasn't that well thought out, it didn't make you think, I wonder who thought of that, but it was original.
Once all the girls find out they're dating the same guy, that is when the movie starts to get really funny and good. I probably laughed at least 3 times, but that's it. Some of the jokes were too overdone.
The acting was pretty good. But you don't have to be a great actor to be in this movie. A movie like Munich, you really have to act hard in it to show everybody the hard times people are going through. Maybe Munich is a bit intense, so let's say, Mean Girls. John Tucker Must Die and Mean Girl are both about High School lives. The thing about Mean Girls, is that Lindsay Lohan really does a good job, showing everybody how she changed in the movie. I feel in this movie, their are just a bunch of girls complaning over a guy, and the ating doesn't get anywhere.
The direction of the movie was good, because it's harder to tell people what to do, then for the people to actually do it. The director has to tell all the girls, hey Ashanti, be pissed in this scene, but not too pissed. This is what the director pictures in his/her mind. All Ashanti has to do is be pissed.
I didn't rate Visuals because the movie was no King Kong or War Of The Worlds, it was a pretty funny High School flick. |
