This looked great from the commercials. And I was even more interested when I noticed that Yahoo users gave it a B+. I was totally disappointed. This movie should have been rated at least PG-17, not PG-13. Actually, Blazing Saddles was rated the equivalent of an R-rating and it was less crude and vulgar than this movie. I was appalled that half of the kids who were in the movie theater were under 13. All women were referred to as females dogs. The language was horrible through the whole film. Blazing Saddles was a well done film because when it was crude it was a fit with the story. This film was just crude to be crude and it got tiresome before the film was half over. The other difference is that Blazing Saddles was aimed at an adult audience. This film is clearly marketed to kids that are really to young to see it. This film sahould not be seen by anyone under 16. |
