Let me start this review off by saying i have never been so excited about seeing a film in my life! 2 weeks before this came out i was running round like a lunatic screaming the word STORMBREAKERR!!!!!!!( thts wot it is called in the UK)! i finally saw it the day it came out and i was speechless!! i had never seen such an amazing teen movie which felt like it could be enjoyed by adults as there wer many in the theater! i came out obviosuly even more hyper than before but was literally amazed!! its not a big budget blockbuster bt in my eyes its 1 of the best i have seen!! the story revolves around 14 year old Alex Rider played absolutely perfectly by Alex Pettyfer, once his uncle Ian Rider dies in a mysterious 'car accident' he begins to wonder what is going on, once he is informed his uncle was a top secret spy working for the MI6 Alex is then recruited and trained to infiltrate the baddies lair, Darius Sayle played brilliantly by Mickey Rourke, Alex Rider must figure out this 'virus' which is being released in a super intelligent compuer called the Stormbreaker which are being handed out, 1 to every british school in the UK! This film has everything you could possibly want, it has a story which evryone appreciates, the acting is superb with some very famous actors/actresses and the action is non-stop and will keep u on the edge of your seat from start to finish! another point which makes this film so much better is tht because im a 14 year old boy, i felt i could relate to Alex Rider, of course not that im a spy or anything, just in general things to do with school and girls etc! this film goes straight to the top in my books n will remain there for a long time im sure!!! this is a MUST WATCH!! just give it a chance at least! |
