I thought "Night at the Museum" was a great movie to take my children to see. My children were laughing and full of excitement; anticipating when we would be able to purchase it on DVD. So-called critics may be dismissive of the movie, but what were they expecting? It's meant to be light-hearted, if it were something heavier, with a lot of violence and cursing, I wouldn't want to take my children to see it. Critics need to keep things in proper perspective; in fact, most critics cannot be trusted to give anything that even resembles a good review. Stephen Holden from the New York Times needs to lighten up, why does everything have to be reduced to some physco-babble of the whys and wherefores of a troubled father-son relationship. Get counciling Stephen! Maybe someone other than Attila needs a hug because his father rejected him. |
