My husband and I saw this movie in the spring at the Sarasota Film Festival and found it to be a big surprise. The story involves a single father, Wade, raising his two children, Tobe, an 18 y.o. girl, and Lonnie, her 13 y.o. brother. Things are ok at home though Wade is a distant and careless father. That is, everything is ok until the cowboy comes to town...Harlan's his name, but what is his game? He's 30-something and is sincerely sweet, but as you watch the story unfold, you start to feel increasingly uneasy. I don't want to give anything away, but just the fact of a 30 y.o. dating an 18 y.o. is enough to figure out something 'ain't right'.

This movie was right on till somewhere toward the last 20 or 30 minutes when it gets off course. Still, it was worth watching and deserves more respect than most movies out there.
