If you are in any way familiar with the actuals of the people and events you will be highly annoyed by the movie. It looks almost right, but it seems to be missing a center. While I understand it is not a doucmentary, there are many problems that could have been avoided. What, now Andy Warhol is straight and had the hots for Edie. He wanted to be her, not be with her. Brigid Polk is skinny now? Edie is skinny in rehab now? Dylan as the ultimate authority on the authentic. Was that before or after "Rainy Day Women"? |
