I just got back from this 2 part movie, and let me say that it is one of the best films I have ever seen (and I work as a movie theater projectionist!) The first movie is Planet Terror, which is basically a zombie-fest type film with a fake trailer at the beggining. The second movie is Death Proof, in which a stuntman (Kurt Russell) uses his "death-proof" stuntcar as a tool of murder. It is truly a sight to behold as you watch these movies. They really look like they are from the 70's with stuff like fake scratches, fake sound problems, fake frame jumps, there is even a fake burn-in among others. This movie is truly a work of art that should not be missed. It is very gruesome with humor thrown in here and there. THIS IS A MUST SEE!!!!! |
