Very clever .... but not really funny

I was disappointed to say the least by "For Your Consideration" which I do acknowledge is a very clever satire of the very money and rumor hungry- superficial movie industry. The big problem with this film is that most of the intended jokes meant to make us chuckle leave us embarassed and hoping the humor will eventually get better. For Your Consideration reminded me of the all too many skits we've all scene on SNL over the years that leave us uncomfortable and reaching for the remote. Unfortunately in this case, the flat skit that really doesn't work lasts 90 minutes. |
