For all of you CG fans that are sick and tired of talking animals and fairy tale characters do yourself a favor and BUY this DVD. For all of you not in the know this is a CG movie based on the most popular Final Fanstasy game ever. The story happens two years after the events that happened in the game.
Story: Disappointing, especially for those people who doesn't know the game.
Acting: It's CG but you can see the amount of motion capture that they did on the charcters, kudos to the motion capture actors :P
Direction: Fantastic, from the over the top action scenes to the great chase scenes. Remember the director noted that they purposely defied the laws of physics just to make the movie look cool, GREAT IDEA MR. DIRECTOR :P.
Visuals: OMGWTFPWNZ. Need I say more.
Overall: Good movie slightly lacking on the story side. Great Eye candy, fans will surely love it, People who don't have any idea what it is will be entertained with the action scenes and just the overall perfection of the CG scenes. Best looking CG movie to date. |
