You know you have. The preview where the battle horn sounds and you see thousands upon thousands of soldiers. The music is great, the visuals are awesome, and it just chills you to your bones? Then when you see the movie... You picture the battles in your head as you drive off to go see it. Then it's NOTHING like the preview? The battles you were expecting to see are missing. The intense moments are missing. What you get is 2 and a half hours of talking and about 15 minutes of battle ::cough:: Alexander ::cough::
Well 300 is the complete opposite of that. The preview is just a small taste of things to come. It's just non-stop action, but with a great plot and very good acting. Endless bloodshed it is not, there is more to it than that. Far more to it. But there is bloodshed.
While some have complained about the historical accuracy you have to question their sanity. Historical accuracy? Why question the historical accuracy of a movie and not the historical accuracy of ANYTHING written in old times. Historical scriptures talk of Gods, Oracles, and millions of men crossing the sea's.
I don't know about you guys but if I wanted historical accuracy I would bust out an encyclopedia. This movie not only provides clothing of the time, they provide Spartan sayings such as come home (your shield) "with it or on it" They provided the child going away at seven years old.
This movie is an intense action packed movie. With incredible visuals and incredible SOUND. Sounds that will make the hairs on your arm stand up. Music that fits the movie like a glove.nev Could you ask for more than 300? Well if you do I feel sorry for you. Because he/she has never experienced a movie that satisfies them then.
