True story of Will Jimeno and John McLoughlin, two Port Authority police officers who rushed into the burning World Trade Center on 9/11 to help rescue people, but became trapped themselves when the tower collapsed. A race against time ensued to free them before their air ran out. Nicholas Cage did a outstanding job in this film, the acting was great, and it's one of the exciting films of the summer, of course it's not the best, but, it was really great. Oliver Stone did a awesome job, and he is a gifted talented director, with did Platoon, one of the best war films ever, now directs the true story of 9/11. The film had a great script, and a great cast. I think in my opinion this film will grab a few oscar nominations. Overall this film had great courage, bravery, and heart. World Trade Center also was shot beautifully, and had spectacular special effects, that recreated the Twin Towers. Out of 5, it's a 4.7. |
