"World Trade Center" is a movie about love, courage and hope. Instead of spending big bucks on showing the Twin Tower blowing up, this movie centers more on two police officers and how they fight together.
This is based on the true story of Will Jimeno and John McLoughlin who entered one of the buildings to help rescue people. The building collapsed bringing it down with the team.
The movie is mostly based on Will and John under the building and how they communicate and try to fight for there lives and family. They have nothing much to do and actually get to know one each other. Everyday they wake up early and are always busy, they never got to know each other, until this.
The storyline is very plain and simple, yet it lasts for an amazing 2 hours. The story is however, not slow or boring. This movie is very emotional and I noticed more than half of the audience were seniors.
I recommend this movie and this movie is very touching and they surely did not just make this movie for the money. |
