Going into this movie I had low expectations. Boy was I wrong!
The movie starts in an Oliver Stone fashion - little dialouge, lots of music and pictures flashing on the screen to build a background on how it started as any other day.
Then after the towers are struck he does a great job following the two men through their rescue.
The acting was great. Nicholas Cage, while I am not a big fan of his work in general, he did a fantastic job.
The movie hits on a lot of the same chords as Ladder 49 did, but seems a little more close to home being that this is a true story. |
