Clive Owen has once again redefined the term "Badass!" As Mr. Smith, he outdoes Willis' John McClane, Stathams' Transporter, and just about everone else that has attempted to claim the title. That alone is worth the price of admission.
Add to this Monica Bellucci... Need I even TRY to say more? She's more than awesome. And tougher than nails, to boot! (no doubt she'll have piercing fans everywhere thinking twice... No Doubt!)
Paul Giamatti also outdoes himself as Owens' nemesis in this film. Not since the iconic Clarance Boddicker (Kurtwood Smith in Robocop)
have we seen a villian this despicable. Again, worth the price of admission.
Not for the faint of heart. But a hell of a lot of fun for the rest of us!
