I went into this movie with my liberal friends wanting to know how I would like it, since I voted for Bush (twice). This movie doesn't have much to do with politics, which was good. It was very informative and very scientific. There were few times when I sighed or disagreed with some of the broad statements from Mr. Gore (i.e. "If we just do the right thing, then we will succeed" or something along those lines.) That's a very idealistic way to look at things, but stick with backing up your statements with scientific research...which, as a scientist, I believe he did a good job doing. In general, I really enjoyed the movie, and I think Al Gore did a great job getting his points across with what he is most passionate about. |
