After reading the "official" synopsis, I went to the theater expecting an engaging fantasy story about a young man who had learned to control his dreams...who was then held hostage by the characters in his dreams because they feared that his awakening would end thier existence. I'd STILL like to see THAT movie but THIS WAS NOT IT...
The synopsis for this drivel SHOULD read: This is a relatively boring "day in the life" flick about a crazy young artist named Stephan who comes home after his father's death when his mother tricks him into taking an "artistically creative" job that actually sucks. In the middle of random images and events triggered by the broken mental state that keeps Stephan from accurately separating dreams from reality, he falls in love with the girl next door, and manages to start a dubious relationship with her despite the fact that both of them should probably be either on heavy medication or in the booby hatch."
Quite frankly this film isn't worth the celluloid required to make it. |
