Don't have any expectations for it and you will love it. Science of Sleep was a refreshing ride through the mind of its confused and slightly schizophrenic protagonist. With anyone else the constant changes of opionion would've been annoying, but the viewer can't help but love the magical mind of Stephane, you can really relate to his stumblings, and the acting is very intimate. The entire movie was charming in a childish way, with unexpected bursts of humor and inventiveness. If you liked Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind for its surrealism, you will love this movie. |
