Well, I have to hand it to them. They actually got me to hand over $10.00 for one ticket to see this unbelievable mish mash of what they call a movie. Not a bad marketing scheme. "Too scary for a rating". Don't believe it.
This is the poorest quality movie, in all aspects, I have ever seen. Why is it marketed as "scary"? I could tell in the first 5 minutes of the movie, I was in for a no budget, amateur type movie that was probably trashed at some point and then brought back to life just to be included in this horrorfest thing.
There are no scares in this movie. There is no suspense, the so called eerie music is hilarious since it doesn't really match the movies tempo or style. The film is very grainy and blurry. The acting is high school play at best. They used real cadavers, but don't let that persuade you to see this movie; its just not enough. There are so called cadaver tank scenes where dead bodies keep showing up and I had to laugh every time one did; every actor playing the dead body inside the tank was put in there without make-up, held their breath and tried so hard to look dead. Very unconvincing though.
The horror fest site also promised gore. Well every single time the so called spirit (which you never see) killed someone you would only see the after effects of a dead body; never the actual kill scene itself. All in all this a very ridiculous movie I felt ambarrassed being there watching. It drew no reaction from the crowd whatsoever except at the end when comments like "Piece of crap" and "Stupid" were being tossed around.
There are some folks here who actually give this movie a good grade. I suspect they're part of the group that made this movie. The bad grades like mine are the real movie going folks with no interest whatsoever in this horrorfest thing.
I personally would have been ambarrassed to release such a bad movie, especially with all the lies used to market it.
