Going into the movie I knew nothing about it, all I knew is it was the only thing showing at our local art theater so I wanted to check it out. I brought with me, my boyfriend (because I assumed it was a romantic comedy so good to have a boyfriend to watch with), and also brought my best friend is a gay guy, (and I brought him just because I love my friends and bringing them with me to movies) The point is though, straight girl, straight guy, gay guy, all of us loved the movie and we laughing most of the time. The movie also had very moving sadder moments that were heart felt. Yeah the movie did have an unpolished look, but it is what it is, and its way better and way more funny than Napoleon Dynamite (which also looked unpolished). Anyway, the acting was good, the story unique, and overall its a great movie to see. |
