I will admit when I first saw the previews for this film I was not looking forward to seeing it. I am a father of two boys aged 10 and 6. I am also a firefighter. The combination of the two basically made this movie a requirement for us.
To my surprize, the movie was very good. I was a bit worried with a couple of the scenes in the film where the father (who is a firefighter) and his sontalk about the boys fears of his father possibly one day being killed in the line of duty, but I feel they handled this very well. Overall I think this film was very enjoyable for all. It is a corny kids films, but than again thats what it is susposed to be. Give it a chance, you will enjoy it. |
