It's not a perfect film but I thought it was one of the best sci-fi films in a very, very long time. I heard alot of critics liked the film but criticized the last act, but honestly I was expecting something really bad. What I got was a very entertaining and suspenseful film. Danny Boyle's style to this film kept it fresh and original, the story and the acting were great.
It's a shame that it hasn't gotten the marketing hype that other films are getting this summer, Sunshine holds it's own against alot of the big films this year. Like I said it's not a perfect film, but neither was Spiderman 3, Pirates of the Caribbean 3, Transformers, etc., but I feel like there was more passion in every frame of this film that derserves to be seen by the public. |
